Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Dotnote and tap Cancel Subscription.

Is my data backed up?

Yes. Your data syncs automatically to iCloud. If you set up a new iPhone — even without restoring from a backup — your entries will reappear once you sign into the same iCloud account.

I deleted the app. Is my data gone?

No. Your data lives in iCloud. Reinstall Dotnote, and everything comes back. To permanently delete your data, remove your entries within the app before uninstalling, or go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage and delete Dotnote's data.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Download Dotnote on your new device and use the Restore Purchases option. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it will be recognized automatically.
